Design and Functionality of the PICCHI Machine
Designed and built back in 1967, this machine has worked with constant efficiency until 2016, machining brass parts with precision and reliability. Equipped with six workstations and four machining units - three dedicated to drilling and one to threading - it is a true symbol of Italian engineering and manufacturing. After its retirement from active service, it was carefully restored in 2017. Currently, this masterpiece of mechanics can be found at the Picchi Historical Machinery Exhibition, further evidence of the value and importance Picchi puts on the preservation and enhancement of its historical heritage.
