Depending on the configuration, the machines realize the superfinishing for the chip removal for brass, carbon steel, stainless, plastic materials spheres, etc.
The basic machine works spheres with a diameter of 2” ½ (maximum external ø 103mm). In option they can turn also larger diameters.
The machine tool DS2000, specific for brass and aluminium spheres, realizes on brass spheres a surface finishing below 0,1 micron Ra.
Modifying the configuration, you can obtain perfect spheres but also spheres with controlled roundness, keeping the requested characteristics of superfinishing.
